TENNIS INDUSTRY: USTA Foundation Celebrates 50 Years of NJTL Network

The USTA Foundation, the national charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association, announced that it will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network by launching an NJTL 50th Anniversary campaign.

TENNIS INDUSTRY: Correction: The Fourth Tennis Industry Innovation Challenge was won by Sparc

The winner of the Tennis Innovation Challenge held this past January in Orlando, was Sparc, made by CCP Games, not Virtual Tennis as previously reported.  Sparc is a genuine virtual sport that has been hailed as one of the best, most active games available for virtual reality.  A unique, physical sport in which players connect online to compete in fast-paced, full-body VR gameplay, Sparc took the top prize in the fourth edition of the Tennis Industry Innovation Challenge—a “Shark Tank”-like competition to identify the most innovative and creative product or service in the tennis industry.

TENNIS INDUSTRY: Inaugural Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference Jan. 23-25 in Orlando

The inaugural Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference will be held Jan. 23-25, 2019, and co-located with the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.  The multi-faceted tennis, racquet and paddle sports industry event will feature a hands-on product demo experience and opening welcome party at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona; and a curated ONE2ONE buying summit, Tennis Owners & Managers (TOM) Conference and an exhibit pavilion of racquet, paddle and tennis vendors and organizations at the Orange County Convention Center.
